Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of preventive discipline and extrinsic motivation as independent variables either partially or simultaneously on the employee’s performance as the dependent variable in the company of PT. Alphacon Valfindo. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Alphacon Valfindo. The method used is quantitative method and the sampling technique used was the simple random sampling totaling 62 employees at PT. Alphacon Valfindo. Measurement of variables using the technique Likert Scale with a score of 1 to 5. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical techniques and to the test the significant level using the F test and t test with SPPS v.20. The result showed that the discipline of preventive partial positive and significant effect on the performance of employees with the result t 3.026. By using the real level of 0.05 (5%), the value t ii count 3.026 > t of 2.000. Extrinsic motivation variable positive and significant effect on employee performance with result t count 2.375 > t table table of 2.000. Simultaneous research result show that the preventive discipline variables and extrinsic motivation positive and significant impact on the performance of employees with the result F 42.655. By using the real level of 0.05 (5%), the value F count 42.655 > F of 3.15. table count Keyword : Preventive Discipline, Extrinsic Motivation, Employee Performance
