Abstract
Community Development (Community Development) is a work program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya. One of the flagship program of PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya is a program fattening and breeding or called the program "fattening & Breeding Domba" , therefore, need to be evaluated to determine the effectiveness of these excellent programs, to determine strengths or weaknesses, as well as to prevent a greater failure in the future . To determine whether the activities carried out has been going according to plan or not, the communication audit required. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of community development programs PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya "Fatening & Breeding Domba" in terms of program planning, program implementation, and program outcomes. This study departed from the audit model of communication linking a public relations planning models with an evaluation model developed by Jim Prichitt and Bill Sherman. This model consists of three stages in carrying out the evaluation, the first one is planning to produce input, execution of which generates output, and the third is the end result produce outcomes. The method used is the method eveluatif with a qualitative approach, and this research technique using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that communication audit community development program of PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya "Fatening & Breeding Domba" at the input stage, the concept has been well planned activities for understanding between implementing a data documentation activities that have been planned previously been appropriate; at the output stage, the implementation is quite smooth, it looks from the many objectives of the program were achieved despite discovered some problems in implementation such as lack of profound training on how to breed sheep that according to the climate at the location of livestock ; and at the stage outcome was found that the objectives of the programs are expected to have been achieved , although until now the number of cattle are still undeveloped.

Additional Information: | Community Development (Comdev) adalah program kerja Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Indonesia Power UBP Suralaya. Salah satu program unggulan PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya adalah program penggemukan dan pembibitan atau disebut dengan program “Fattening & Breeding Domba”, oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi guna mengetahui keefektifitasan dari program unggulan tersebut, untuk mengetahui kekuatan atau kelemahan yang ada, serta untuk mencegah kegagalan yang lebih besar dimasa mendatang. Untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan telah berjalan sesuai perencanaan atau tidak, diperlukan audit komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program community development PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya “Fatening & Breeding Domba” ditinjau dari perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, dan hasil akhir program. Penelitian ini bertolak dari model audit komunikasi lingking a public relations planning model with an evaluation model yang dikembangkan oleh Jim Prichitt dan Bill Sherman. Model ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan dalam melaksanakan evaluasi, yang pertama adalah perencanaan yang menghasilkan input, pelaksanaan yang menghasilkan output, dan yang ketiga adalah hasil akhir menghasilkan outcome. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eveluatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dan teknik penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa audit komunikasi program community development PT Indonesia Power UP Suralaya “Fatening & Breeding Domba” pada tahap input, konsep kegiatannya telah terencana dengan baik karena pemahaman antara pelaksana kegiatan dengan data dokumentasi yang sudah direncanakan sebelumnya telah sesuai; pada tahap output, pelaksanaan cukup lancar, itu terlihat dari banyak tujuan program yang tercapai meskipun ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya seperti kurang mendalamnya pelatihan tentang bagaimana cara mengembangbiakan domba yang sesuai dengan iklim di lokasi ternak; dan pada tahap outcome ditemukan bahwa tujuan besar program yang diharapkan telah tercapai, meskipun hingga saat ini jumlah ternak masih belum berkembang. | |||||||||
