Abstract

Sarah Karimah 1122016 Faculty of Economics and Business, Majors of Operation Management, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. 2016. “Cost and Time Optimization with Project Crashing (Case Study: Jembatan Asa Pemirsa SCTV Project in Agam District – West Sumatera)” under the guidance of Yanto Azie Setya SE., M.Si., and Gerry Ganika SE.,M.sc. Project crashing and least cost scheduling is a method used to accelerate the project frequently in order to obtain the optimal cost and duration. Normal schedule made network planning, which is PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) to identified any task items that belong to the critical path. This critical path is next to be shortened. The duration with project crashing alternative is the addition of working hours (overtime). After analyzing the case study approach to Case Study Jembatan Asa Pemirsa SCTV Project in Agam District – West Sumatera, optimal cost is obtained when choosing normal duration of 90 days with a total cost of Rp 411.351.500,00 and time are optimal when selecting a cost of Rp 412.157.833,00 (after crashing) with a total duration of 44 days. Therefore, the recommendation is choose the optimal time because there isn’t delay in completing project. Keywords: Optimization of cost and time, shorten, project crashing
