Abstract
Industrial sector-based household income is very important for the local community because fish caught can be processed back into a salted fish, fish stew and dried fish. Research objectives, namely, to analyse the added value gained from the results of the pengelolahan fish wet into dry fish, salted fish, dried fish and fresh fish stew and to analyze the results of processed fish which is capable of delivering the highest employment against crafters home industry-based fish. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. Site selection study was deliberately implemented in Kampong Bugis, Karangantu, Serang. Responponden Retrieval methods namely pengamblan census. Whereas the methods and analysis of Data i.e., value added can be searched by way of a reduction in the cost of raw material fish used combined with other input costs directly related to the change in the form of processed fish reception against produced. Characteristics of respondents craftsmen fish include the age and level of education. the added value gained from the results of making fish e.g. fresh fish for the manufacture of Rp. 1, 247, 79/kg of raw materials, manufacture of salted fish amounted to Rp. 901/kg of raw materials, while the manufacture of fish stew of IDR 27, 448, 07/kg of raw materials. As for processed fish are capable of delivering the highest employment against crafters home industry-based fish processing is the salted fish amounted to Rp. 0.14/kg of raw materials
