Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in ability to know the concept of a number of children aged 4-5 years through the medium RA flip chart in Tarbiyatul Aulad the academic year 2015/2016. The subjects were children aged 4-5 years in the group A2 consisting of 15 children consisting of 7 girls and 8 boys. The study was conducted in RA Tarbiyatul Aulad located in Complex Bukit Permai Pelamunan / Sankyu Block C8 No.2-3 Pelamunan Village, District Kramatwatu Serang regency of Banten province. When the study was 14 to 29 April 2016. The method used was classroom action research conducted through two cycles, the first cycle consists of 8 times the action and the second cycle 4 times the action. Cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results obtained in the pre-study ability to recognize the concept of child figure of 30%. Once the child is given the action on the first cycle, the ability to know the concept of child figure increased to 44%, the second cycle was obtained a yield of 78%. Thus, the ability to know the concept of a number of children has increased and is at the level of developing very well. Condusion this research using a flip chart can enhance the ability to know the concept of a number of children aged 4-5 years in RA Tarbiyatul Aulad.
