Abstract

The use of metal in the development of technology and industry as one of the supporting material that has a big role. But in the daily life are many factors which causesthe power of metal or steel were declined. The purpose of this researchto determine the value of the corrosion rate material. The method that used in the research by replenishment of fluid temperature variation of seawater. Based on the third temperature test of 35ºC, 45ºC and 55ºC the results showed that the optimum temperature 35ºC, but in other material optimal temperature 45ºC and 55ºC. Thus the rise of temperature that occurs were influenced The speed of the corrosion. But the composition of a material can also influence the speed of corrosion.
