Abstract
This research aimed to determine the correlation between motivation to learn and student’s psychomotor ability through a scientific approach in the practicum of excretory system. This research was conducted in SMPN 2 Kota Serang. The method that was used to descriptive method with correlaction techniques. Then, cluster random sampling is used to classify a subject who have 42 students from class VIII F in the second semester of academic year 2014/2015. The data was obtained by using questionnaire to measure student’s motivation and observation sheet to measure ability . Motivation to learn acquire good criteria with an average point of 77,3% and ability to obtain good mark with average point 75,7%. Based on the result Product Momment Correlation test conclude that motivation to learn and student’s psychomotor ability have significant positive correlation with correlation point (r) as much 0,733% and coefficient determination (r2 ) as much 0,537.
