Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the application of total quality management on firm performance with the quality performance and employees performance as intervening variables. This research was conducted in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing firm in the province of Banten, data collection is done by survey method on 110 middle managers and the quality control. The data in this study were processed using software Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings of this study indicate that total quality management has a significant negative impact on quality performance, total quality management has a positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, total quality management has a positive and significant impact on firm performance, quality performance has a significant negative effect on the performance companies, employee performance has a positive and significant effect on firm performance. In addition, this study also shows that the quality performance and employee performance mediates the influence of total quality management on firm performance.
