Abstract
Problems that arise at the school is low yields due to the use of students learning method that uses a monotonous lecture. To optimize the learning conditions that teachers expect. It will be applied make a match cooperative learning in teaching science. Based on the above. The formulation of the problem as followers:(1) If the user types make a match in the cooperative to improve learning outcomes in subjects IPA? (2) How increased activity of students using cooperative learning type make a match? This researcher is intended to improve student learning outcomes and want to know the student activity by using models make a match. Methods this study uses classroom action research. This study wash conducted with 2 cycles. Each cycles consisting of 2 meetings and consists of four stages. Namely: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observations, and 4) reflection. This study also used the instrument of observation, teting, and field notes. Based on the results obtained are, 1) increase students learning outcomes in the first cycles of 71%. The scond cycles of 82%. In addition. The activity of the students also increased in cycles I was 57%, and the secend cycles of 75%.

| Additional Information: | Masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang disebabkan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang monoton yaitu menggunakan metode ceramah. Untuk mengoptimalkan kondisi pembelajaran yang guru harapkan, maka akan diterapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MAKE A MATCH pada mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, maka perumusan masalahnya sebagai berikut: (1) apakah pengguanaan kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA? (2) bagaimana peningkatan aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match? Penelitian bertujuan ingin meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan ingin mengetahui aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model make a match. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dan terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) tindakan, 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan.. Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan1) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 71%, siklus II sebesar 82%, selain itu aktivitas siswa juga mengalami kenaikan yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 57%, dan siklus II sebesar 75%. | |||||||||
