Abstract
The purpose of this research was to improve result learning and student activities through the use of cooperative learning model type Course Review Horay. This research was conducted in the fourth week in May until the second week of June, at the subject matter of Production Technology Development, Communication and Transportation. The research subject is twentyfive students. Method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the cyclic research consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. Research is implemented as two cycles consisting of two meetings each cycle. Result study showed an increase in cognitive result learning and students activities every cyclic. The first cycle reaches 76% and increased 100% at the second cycles. Students activities in the first cycle reaches 73% with “ enough “ category and increased 93% with “ good “ category at the second cycles. The results completed the indicators of success that research set imoproved result learning by 100% and 80% of students activities. So based on the research for two cycles, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model Course Review Horay can improved results learning of students at fourth grade Kalanggunung Elementary School

| Additional Information: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada minggu ke empat bulan Mei sampai minggu kedua bulan Juni, dengan materi pokok Perkembangan Teknologi Produksi, Komunikasi dan Transportasi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 25 siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Class Room Action Research), yakni penelitian bersiklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, terdiri dari dua pertemuan pada tiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif maupun aktivitas belajar siswa pada tiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I hasil belajar mencapai 76% dan meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 73% dengan kategori “ cukup “ dan meningkat menjadi 93% pada siklus II dengan kategori “ baik “. Hasil tersebut telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan peneliti yaitu 100% pada hasil belajar dan 80% pada aktivitas siswa. Maka berdasarkan data hasil penelitian selama dua siklus, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Kalanggunung | |||||||||
