Abstract

ABSTRACT Yuliani, 2321120137. Applying Inquiry Method and Interpersonal Intelligence Towards Economics Achievement at the Eleventh Grade Thesis Instructional Technology Program Post Graduate Sultan AgengTirtayasa University. 2014. Some of students think difficult so their economics learning achievement is low.monotonous learning method, teacher do not attend to interpersonal intelligence, and teacher centered. The problems are investigate in this research are: (1) the difference of economics achievement by applying inquiry method and make a match method. (2) economics achievement who have high interpersonal intelligence and low interpersonal intelligence, (3) interaction between applying inquiry method and high interpersonal intelligence economics achievement, (4) inquiry methodand make a matchmethod who have high interpersonal intelligence (5) the by applying inquiry method and make a match method who have low interpersonal intelligence.The research is conducted at SMAN 3 Pandeglang in academic year 2013/2014. The method used in this research is quantitative method with experimental design of 2x2 factorial design. The total sample is 44 students of social program.The result of achievement between students who learn by applying inquiry method and the students who learn by applying make a match method7.330> 2.20, there is difference between students who have high interpersonal intelligence and low interpersonal intelligence5.14>1.75,there is interaction between applying inquiry method and interpersonal intelligence towards economics achievement11.34>1.75, economics achievement who applying inquiry methodand make a match method who have high interpersonal intelligence4.61>3.20, economics achievement by applying inquiry method and make a match method who have low interpersonal intelligence1,86> 0.34. Based on the research, it can be conclude that inquiry method is effective in improving students achievement and interpersonal intelligence give contribution in developing critical thinking and deductive thinking.
