Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in learning outcomes of students who use the jigsaw cooperative model with those using the ekpositori model on learning social science. This research merhod is an experimental method with Quasi Experimental Design (experimental) research and nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of pasirgombong I and II elemantary schools. Of all the classes, two classes were taken as purposive sampling techniques. So the experimental class is obtained that is class IV SDN Pasirgombong I, where the class is on learning using cooperative learning model jigsaw type and control class that is class IV Pasirgombong II, where the class is in the learning process using the expository model. Based on the results of data analysis, the average posttest score in the experimental class was 65.15 while the average posttest score in the control class was 56.7. the results of the study were obtained from inferential tests on the hypotesis. From the results of the right-hand test, t_count t table is 10.66 1.674, so H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type jigsaw with which use the model of exposure learning and student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model jigsaw type better than the students who use the model ekpositori.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dengan yang menggunakan model ekpositori pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian Quasi Experimental Design (eksperimen semu) dan bentuk desain kelompok Control non-equivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN Pasirgombong I dan II. Dari seluruh jumlah kelas diambil dua kelas sebagai sampel teknik purposive sampling. Sehingga dapat diperoleh kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas IV SDN Pasirgombong II. Dimana kelas tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas IV SDN Pasirgombong I.
