Abstract
The increasing number of stroke patients requiring rehabilitation has led to the need for more optimal and practical physiotherapy equipment. This study aims to identify existing equipment at RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara and those available in the marketplace, to redesign hand and foot exercise equipment for post-stroke patients by combining features from hospital equipment and the advantages of the Multi Purpose Rehabilitation Bike, to determine the most important customer needs, and to conduct a financial feasibility analysis to assess whether the product is viable. Observations showed that existing equipment at RSUD includes the Foam Roller, Static Bike, Roller Bar, Stand Up, and Steering Wheel, each focusing only on one part of the body—either upper or lower. This leads to patient congestion, as they must move between different devices to exercise various body parts. Meanwhile, the Multi Purpose Rehabilitation Bike has limitations, such as only being usable on flat and non-slippery surfaces. Therefore, a redesign using the Nigel Cross method is necessary to create a more effective and efficient exercise tool that can be used anytime and anywhere, capable of training both upper and lower body simultaneously. The most important customer need is product safety—specifically, the locking mechanism must be made from strong and durable materials to ensure safe use. The financial feasibility analysis concluded that the product is viable, as the Break-Even Point (BEP) value is lower than the number of products produced.

| Additional Information: | Meningkatnya jumlah pasien stroke yang memerlukan rehabilitasi mendorong kebutuhan akan alat fisioterapi yang lebih optimal dan praktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui identifikasi alat eksising pada RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara dan alat yang tersedia di marketplace, melakukan redesain alat latihan tangan dan kaki untuk pasien pasca stroke dengan mengkombinasikan fitur dari alat yang tersedia di RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara dan kelebihan Multi Purpose Rehabilitation Bike, mengetahui apa customer need yang paling dibutuhkan oleh konsumen, serta uji kelayakan financial untuk menentukan produk layak atau tidak. Hasil observasi didapatkan hasil alat eksisting pada RSUD yaitu Foam Roller, Static Bike, Roller Bar, Stand Up, dan Steering Wheel hanya berfokus pada satu bagian tubuh yaitu atas atau bawah. Hal tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan pasien dikarenakan pasien harus berpindah alat untuk mendapatkan latihan bagian yang lainnya. Sementara Multi Purpose Rehabilitation Bike memiliki kekurangan yaitu hanya bisa digunakan pada permuakaan yang datar dan tidak licin. oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan redesain alat latihan tangan dan kaki menggunakan Metode Nigel Cross untuk mendapatkan alat latihan yang efektif dan efisien dan dapat digunakan di mana saja dan kapan saja serta dapat digunakan untuk melatih tubuh bagian atas dan bawah sekaligus. Customer Need yang paling dibutuhkan oleh konsumen adalah keamanan produk yaitu pengunci dibuat dari bahan yang kokoh dan awet sehingga alat aman saat digunakan. Hasil uji kelayakan financial alat dikatakan layak karena nilai BEP < produk yang diproduksi. | |||||||||
