Abstract

Today, there are many factors that cause PV cells to not work optimally due to disconnected busbars and damage that occurs in PV cells. Various methods of detecting failure in PV cells have been found with various types of methods, but each method has limitations. Therefore, this research developed a magnetic hall effect sensor method type KY024 to detect damage to PV cells. Testing the diagnosis of PV cell failure is carried out by knowing the value of electric current that affects the value of the magnetic field on each busbar in the PV cell. Tests were carried out three times, namely for solar cells under normal conditions, solar cells in cut busbar conditions and solar cells in crack conditions. Damage diagnosis can be known if the magnetic field value obtained has a significant difference between the two busbars tested for both normal state solar cells, cut busbars, and cracks.

Additional Information: Dewasa kini banyak faktor yang menyebabkan PV cell tidak dapat bekerja secara optimal yang disebabkan karena adanya busbar yang terputus dan kerusakan yang terjadi di dalam PV cell. Berbagai metode pendeteksian kegagalan pada PV cell telah banyak ditemukan dengan berbagai jenis metode, namun setiap metode memiliki keterbatasan. Maka daripada itu penelitian ini mengembangkan metode sensor magnetic hall effect berjenis KY024 untuk mendeteksi kerusakan pada sel PV. Pengujian diagnosa kegagalan PV sel dilakukan dengan mengetahui nilai arus listrik yang mempengaruhi nilai medan magnet pada tiap busbar di PV sel. Pengujian dilakukan secara tiga kali yaitu untuk sel surya pada kondisi normal, sel surya pada kondisi cut busbar dan sel surya pada kondisi crack. Diagnosa kerusakan dapat diketahui jika nilai medan magnet yang didapatkan memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua busbar yang diuji baik untuk sel surya yang keadaan normal, cut busbar, dan crack.
