Abstract
This study aims to determine how the effect of using the explicit instruction method in improving vocational skills in making dessert boxes for children with hearing impairments. The research method used is quantitative experiment using One Group Pre-test Post-test. The subjects of this study were 5 students of class XI SMALB. The instrument used in the use of explicit instruction methods in improving vocational skills in making dessert boxes for children with hearing impairments is a performance test in the form of an assessment sheet. The results showed that the average value received by students before being given treatment (pre-test) was 47, after being given treatment the average value received by students (post-test) increased to 82. The statistical test results show that the explicit instruction method has an effect in improving vocational skills in making dessert boxes for children with hearing impairments.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pengaruh penggunaan metode explicit instruction dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional tatanoga membuat dessert box pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen dengan mengggunakan One Group Pre-test Post-test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 siswa kelas XI SMALB. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penggunaan metode explicit instruction dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional tataboga membuat dessert box pada anak hambatan pendengaran adalah tes kinerja berupa lembar penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata yang diterima siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pre-test) adalah sebesar 47, setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata yang diterima oleh siswa (post-test) meningkat menjadi 82. Hasil uji statistic menunjukan bahwa metode explicit instruction berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional tataboga membuat dessert box pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran. | |||||||||
