Abstract
Straw, which is considered the main waste from rice farming, can be innovated as food packaging so that this can reduce waste to some extent. Food packaging is one of the innovations from the widespread use of plastic as food packaging with special treatment in the form of rolling using a coating made from Sika 107 (waterproof). The research method used is the method without rolling (S0), using one layer rolling (S1), two layer rolling (S2) and three layer rolling (S3). Variables used as comparison with other methods are density, modulus of elasticity, tensile test and contact angle.

Additional Information: | Jerami yang dianggap limbah utama dari hasil pertanian padi dapat diinovasikan sebagai food packaging sehingga hal tersebut dapat sedikit banyaknnya mengurangi limbah. Food packaging merupakan salah satu inovasi dari maraknya penggunaan plastic sebagai pembungkus makanan dengan treatment khusus berupa pengrollan menggunakan coating berbahan Sika 107 (waterproof). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode tanpa pengerollan (S0), menggunakan pengerollan satu lapis (S1), pengerolan dua lapis (S2) dan pengerollan tiga lapis (S3). Variable yang dijadikan sebagai perbandingan dengan metode lainnya berupa massa jenis, modulus elastisitas, uji Tarik dan sudut kontak. | |||||||||
