Abstract
Billing at PT. Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution of the Serang Branch is an activity of collecting receivables for purchasing products that implements a smartbilling application system as an effort to facilitate the billing or collection department in providing information on billing accounts that are approaching the due date. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to know and understand the process of collecting receivables at PT. Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution through the smartbilling application, and to find out the obstacles experienced during the billing process and the efforts made by PT. Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution in overcoming this problem. The results of this study can be concluded that PT. Kimia Farma Trading and Ditribution Serang-Banten Branch, the process of collecting receivables through the smartbilling application is very easy and practical. Kimia Farma Trading dan Distribution Cabang Serang merupakan kegiatan Penagihan piutang atas pembelian produk yang menerapkan sistem aplikasi smartbilling sebagai upaya untuk memudahkan bagian penagihan atau inkaso dalam memberikan informasi tagihan piutang yang sudah mendekati batas jatuh tempo. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami proses penagihan piutang pada PT. Kimia Farma Trading dan Distribution melalui aplikasi smartbilling, dan untuk mengetahui hambatan- hambatan yang dialami selama proses penagihan serta upaya yang dilakukan PT. Kimia Farma Trading dan Distribution dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa PT. Kimia Farma Trading dan Ditribution Cabang Serang-Banten proses penagihan piutang melalui aplikasi smartbilling sangat mudah dan praktis.
