Abstract
The rapid population growth in Serang Regency is partly due to Serang as the capital of Bante Province has its own pull from urbanists and also residents from other provinces andcities and also the many industries in Serang. The growth of the population is certainly directly proportional to the increase in the movement of goods and people. This has led tosignificant growth in vehicle flows. In the end, in developing the concept of transport demand management (TDM), the most effective step isto bring urban people to use publictransportation modes. These strategies are grouped into 4 major groups based on the characteristics of each strategy. The following are the names of the groups of strategies, namely Improve Transport Options, Incentives, Parking and Land Use Management and Policy And Institutional Reforms. In this study, researchers only focused on determining TDM strategies based on Iprove Transport Options that are effective in accordance with conditions in the Cikande Modern Industrial area. Themethod used to select theTDM strategy in SerangRegency isthe ranking method. The data was obtained based on filling out questionnaires of 5 respondents who were considered to understand and take transportation policies in Serang Regency. Data processing is carried out with the help of Microsoft Excel with the results of Ride Sharing and Park and Ride occupying the top ranking as the right strategy to be implemented, and the program is in accordance with the characteristics in Serang Regency. Based on the simulation (modeling) researchers will see and review the effectiveness of theimplementation of a TDM strategy according to existing sources with pessimistic scenarios, namely scenarios with conditions as they are developing now. So based on the analysis, the application of Ride Sharing and Park and Ride in reducing congestion in Serang Regency is likely to be 5.04%-21.48% of people who have the potential to do RideSharing and Park and Ride

Additional Information: | Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang cukup pesat di Kabupaten Serang salah satunya disebabkan karena Serang sebagai ibukota Provinsi Bante mempunyai tarikan tersendiri dari para urbanis dan juga penduduk dari provinsi dan kota lain dan juga banyaknya Industri-industri di serang. Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk tentunya berbanding lurus dengan pertambahan pergerakan barang dan orang. Hal ini menyebabkan pertumbuhan arus kendaraan yang cukuo signifikan. Pada akhirnya dalm mengembangkan konsep transport demand management (TDM), langkah paling jitu adalah membawa masyarakat perkotaan untuk menggunakan moda transportasi umum. Strategi-strategi ini dielompokan menjadi 4 kelompok besar berdasar karakteristik dari masing-masing strategi. Berikut ini nama-nama kelompok strategi-strategi tersebut yaitu Improve Transport Options, Incentives, Parking and Land Use Management dan Policy And Institutional Reforms. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya terfokus untuk menentukan strategi TDM berbasis Iprove Transport Options yang efektif sesusai dengan kondisi di kawasan Industri Moderen Cikande. Metode yang digunakan untuk memilih strategi TDM di Kabupaten Serang adalahmetode rangking. Data diperoleh berdasarkan pengisian kuisioner 5 responden yangdianggap memahami dan mengambil kebijakan transportasi di Kabupaten Serang. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan microsoft excel dengan hasil Ride Sharing dan Park and Ride menempati rangking teratas sebagai strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan, dan program tersebut sesuai dengan karakteriistik di Kabupaten Serang. Berdasarkan simulasi (permodelan) peneliti akan melihat dan meninjau efektifitas dari pelaksanaan suatu strategi TDM menurut sumber-sumber yang ada dengsn skenario pesimis, yaitu skenaro dengan kondisi apa adanya seperti yang berkembang sekarang. Maka berdasarkan analisa, penerapan Ride Sharing dan Parkand Ride dalam mengurangi kemacetan di Kabupaten Serang kemungkinan sebesar5,04%- 21,48% orang yang berpotensi melakukan Ride Sharing dan Park and Ride. | |||||||||
