Abstract
Bioplastics are renewable materials that can be degraded naturally, Bioplastics can be made using renewable materials such as cellulose. Cellulose is a polycarbonate that we can find in crops, one example is rice straw. In this research the aim is to obtain a bioplastic that can replace synthetic plastics, to know the characteristics of a bioplastic, and know the value of the contact angle to determine the properties of bioplastics in water. The research method used This study was a completely randomized design with four tests, namely tensile test, length increase, thickness, and contact angle, with four independent variables in 15 ml, 20 ml, 30 ml, and 45 ml solutions in the same mold. The analytical The method used is one-way (ANOVA) with continued Duncan analysis. The research results were obtained in the form of test data results where in the thickness test the highest thickness value was found in 45 ml solution with a value of 9.28 x 10-2mm and the lowest is in a 15ml solution with a value of 6.88x10-2mm. Tensile test on 15 ml solution obtained 1.79 MPa, 20 ml solution obtained 1.8 MPa, 30 ml solution obtained 1.6 MPa, and 45 ml solution brought 1.4 MPa. With an increase in length in each solution of 12.95%, 16.5%, 22.2%, and 28.5%, and the contact angle value in each solution is 81.30 , 85.630 , 88.230 , 90.8 0 .

Additional Information: | Bioplastik merupakan material terbarukan yang dapat terdegradasi secara alami, bioplastik dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan terbarukan serperti selulosa. Selulosa merupakan polikarbonat yang dapat kita temui pada tanaman pertanian salah satu contonya yaitu jerami padi. Dalam penilitan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sebuah bioplastik yang dapat menggantikan plastik sintesis, dapat mengetahui karakterisitik sebuah bioplastik serta dapat mengetahui nilai sudut kontak untuk mengetahui sifat bioplastik terhadap air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa rancangan acak lengkap dimana terdapat empat kali pengujian yaitu uji tarik, pertambahan panjang, ketebalan dan sudut kontak, dengan empat variabel bebas pada larutan 15ml, 20ml, 30ml dan 45ml pada cetakan yang sama. Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa (ANOVA) satu arah dengan analisa lanjutan duncan. Didapatkan hasil penelitian berupa hasil data pengujian dimana pada pengujian ketebalan nilai ketebalan tertinggi terdapat pada larutan 45ml dengan nilai 9,28x10-2mm dan terendah pada larutan 15ml dengan nilai 6,88x10-2mm. Pengujian uji tarik pada larutan 15ml diperoleh 1,79 MPa, larutan 20ml diperoleh 1,8 Mpa, larutan 30ml diperoleh 1,6 MPa dan larutan 45ml diperoleh 1,4 MPa.
