Abstract
The research was aimed 1) to determine how the application of heuristic methods in mathematics learning material fractions in grade V MIN Cibeureum, 2) To improve the learning outcomes of mathematics courses at the material fractions word problems graders V MIN Cibeureum, 3) To improve student learning activities in class V MIN Cibeureum. This research is a class act with a number of cycles as much as 3 cycles. The subjects were students of class V MIN Cibeureum. The results showed that: 1) the learning process by using heuristic methods to improve learning outcomes and learning activities in mathematics graders V MIN Cibeureum with the stages include: a) the initial activity, the teacher presents the subject matter and divide the students into groups; b) this activity, the teacher hand out Worksheet Students, Teachers invite each student set a temporary answer questions from the worksheets, the teacher asked us to reexamine temporary answer, the teacher asked us to draw conclusions, the students must come to the conclusion about the last answer of about- LKS matter and write on the answer sheet that has been provided; 2) learning outcomes in mathematics material fractions in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle test has increased from an average value of 59.2, 61.4, to 69.2; 3) The results of student learning activities using heuristic methods in math showed that in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 42%, 66% and 80%

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara penerapan metode heuristik dalam pembelajaran matematika materi pecahan pada siswa kelas V MIN Cibeureum, 2) Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan soal cerita siswa kelas V di MIN Cibeureum, 3) Untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V di MIN Cibeureum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan jumlah siklus sebanyak 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V MIN Cibeureum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan:1) proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode heuristic dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas V MIN Cibeureum dengan tahapan meliputi: a) kegiatan awal, guru menyajikan materi pelajaran dan membagi siswa dalam kelompok; b) kegiatan ini, guru membagikan Lembar Kerja Siswa, Guru mengajak tiap siswa menetapkan jawaban sementara dari soal-soal LKS, guru mengajak siswa menguji kembali jawaban sementara, guru mengajak siswa menarik kesimpulan, yaitu siswa harus sampai pada kesimpulan tentang jawaban terakhir dari soal-soal LKS dan menuliskannya pada lembar jawaban yang telah disediakan; 2) Hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika materi pecahan pada siklus I, siklus II, dan tes siklus III mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 59,2, 61,4, sampai 69,2; 3) Hasil aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode heuristik pada pelajaran matematika menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III yaitu 42%, 66%, dan 80%. | |||||||||
