EPrints Repository UNTIRTAPRA RANCANGAN PABRIK LOW DENSITY POLIETILENA DARI ETILENA DENGAN KAPASITAS 260.000 TON/TAHUNDhivaSalsabilahauthorKhansaAshfaniauthorKeishaMedina ParamithaauthorLow Density Polyethylene (LDPE) merupakan salah satu jenis plastik yang banyak digunakan pada industri kemasan fleksibel, otomotif, elektronik, dan kebutuhan rumah tangga karena memiliki sifat ringan, fleksibel, dan tahan terhadap korosi. Kebutuhan LDPE di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring pertumbuhan industri makanan, minuman, dan ritel, sementara kapasitas produksi dalam negeri masih belum mampu memenuhi permintaan sehingga impor LDPE terus mengalami peningkatan. Oleh karena itu, dirancang pabrik Low Density Polyethylene berbahan baku etilena dengan kapasitas 260.000 ton/tahun yang berlokasi di Cilegon, Banten. Proses produksi menggunakan metode polimerisasi tekanan tinggi dengan reaktor tubular karena memiliki konversi lebih tinggi dibandingkan reaktor autoclave, yaitu sebesar 40%. Proses berlangsung pada suhu 300°C dan tekanan 2467,3 atm dengan bahan baku utama etilena serta inisiator dicumyl peroxide. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi, diperoleh Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) sebesar US$668.528.196, Manufacturing Cost (MC) sebesar US$1.434.577.645, dan keuntungan setelah pajak sebesar US$406.041.971 per tahun. Hasil evaluasi kelayakan ekonomi menunjukkan nilai Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 44% dan Shutdown Point (SDP) sebesar 26%, sehingga pabrik LDPE dengan kapasitas 260.000 ton/tahun dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dan dioperasikan secara ekonomi.Q Science (General)QD ChemistryT Technology (General)TA Engineering (General).
