      "note": "Lembaga pendidikan tinggi memiliki peran krusial dalam\r\npembangunan sosial-ekonomi bangsa melalui penciptaan Sumber Daya\r\nManusia (SDM) berkualitas. Dalam konteks ini, kinerja dosen sebagai human\r\ncapital merupakan determinan utama keberhasilan organisasi akademik.\r\nObservasi awal di Universitas La Tansa Mashiro menunjukkan bahwa kinerja\r\ndosen belum optimal, yang diindikasikan oleh adanya isu dalam kerjasama\r\ntim, komunikasi interpersonal, dan tingkat kompetensi. Studi-studi terdahulu\r\ntelah banyak menguji pengaruh parsial dari ketiga variabel tersebut terhadap\r\nkinerja, namun masih terdapat kesenjangan (gap) riset. Belum banyak\r\npenelitian yang secara spesifik mengeksplorasi peran kompetensi sebagai\r\nvariabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara kerjasama tim dan komunikasi\r\ninterpersonal dengan kinerja dosen, khususnya dalam konteks perguruan\r\ntinggi. Penelitian ini hadir untuk mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dan\r\nmemberikan solusi praktis berbasis data guna meningkatkan kinerja akademik\r\ndosen secara komprehensif.\r\nPenelitian ini bertujuan utama untuk menganalisis secara mendalam\r\nmodel struktural yang menghubungkan variabel-variabel tersebut. Secara\r\nspesifik, penelitian ini berupaya menguji beberapa hal: pertama, menganalisis\r\npengaruh langsung kerjasama tim terhadap kinerja dosen; kedua,\r\nmenganalisis pengaruh langsung komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja\r\ndosen, dan ketiga, menganalisis pengaruh langsung kompetensi dosen\r\nterhadap kinerja dosen. Selain itu, tujuan penting lainnya adalah untuk\r\nmenguji pengaruh tidak langsung dari kerjasama tim terhadap kinerja dosen\r\nmelalui kompetensi dosen, serta pengaruh tidak langsung dari komunikasi\r\ninterpersonal terhadap kinerja dosen melalui kompetensi dosen.\r\nPendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan dalam\r\npenelitian ini. Populasi studi adalah seluruh 121 dosen tetap yang ada di\r\nUniversitas La Tansa Mashiro. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan\r\nrumus Slovin dengan error rate 5%, menghasilkan jumlah sampel sebanyak\r\n93 dosen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang diterapkan adalah simple random\r\nsampling untuk memastikan representasi yang adil dari populasi. Data\r\ndikumpulkan melalui instrumen kuesioner yang menggunakan skala Likert 1-\r\n5, di mana validitas dan reliabilitasnya telah teruji. Untuk analisis data,\r\ndigunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial\r\nLeast Squares (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4, yang efektif\r\ndigunakan untuk menguji model struktural (inner model) serta pengaruh\r\nlangsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel.\r\nHasil analisis SEM menunjukkan temuan yang signifikan. Kerjasama\r\ntim (β=0,186; t=2,203; p=0,014) dan komunikasi interpersonal (β=0,105; t=1,741; p=0,041) sama-sama berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan\r\nsignifikan terhadap kinerja dosen. Bahkan, kompetensi dosen menunjukkan\r\npengaruh langsung yang jauh lebih kuat dan signifikan terhadap kinerja (β\r\n=0,719; t=7,201; p=0,000). Selain itu, terbukti bahwa kerjasama tim\r\n(β=0,444; t=5,796; p=0,000) dan komunikasi interpersonal (β=0,264;\r\nt=3,903; p=0,000) juga berpengaruh tidak langsung secara positif dan\r\nsignifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kompetensi dosen. Nilai R2\r\nkinerja\r\nsebesar 0,850 (kategori kuat) dan R2\r\nkompetensi sebesar 0,648 (kategori\r\nsedang) menunjukkan bahwa model yang diajukan memiliki daya prediksi\r\nyang sangat baik.\r\nBerdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat ditarik beberapa kesimpulan utama.\r\nPertama, secara keseluruhan, kerjasama tim, komunikasi interpersonal, dan\r\nkompetensi dosen memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dan positif dalam\r\nmeningkatkan kinerja dosen di Universitas La Tansa Mashiro. Kedua, temuan\r\npenting menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dosen berperan sebagai mediator\r\nparsial yang signifikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan pada\r\nkerjasama tim dan komunikasi interpersonal tidak hanya berpengaruh\r\nlangsung pada kinerja, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi melalui mekanisme\r\npeningkatan kompetensi dosen terlebih dahulu. Ketiga, di antara ketiga\r\nvariabel independen yang diteliti, kompetensi dosen memiliki pengaruh\r\nlangsung terbesar terhadap kinerja, menegaskan perannya sebagai faktor\r\ndominan.\r\nSecara teoretis, temuan ini memperkaya khazanah ilmu Manajemen\r\nPendidikan, khususnya dalam merumuskan model peningkatan kinerja dosen\r\ndengan menempatkan kompetensi sebagai mediator kunci. Secara praktis,\r\nhasil penelitian ini memberikan peta jalan (roadmap) yang jelas bagi\r\npimpinan Universitas La Tansa Mashiro dan perguruan tinggi sejenis.\r\nRekomendasi kebijakan yang dapat diterapkan meliputi: perancangan\r\nintervensi untuk membangun budaya kolaborasi dan tim kerja yang solid;\r\npenyelenggaraan pelatihan rutin mengenai keterampilan komunikasi\r\ninterpersonal dan manajemen konflik; serta menjadikan program\r\npengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan (pelatihan, studi lanjut, sertifikasi)\r\nsebagai strategi inti peningkatan kinerja. Implementasi sistem penilaian dan\r\nreward yang menyelaraskan kerjasama tim, komunikasi, dan pengembangan\r\nkompetensi juga perlu dipertimbangkan. Diharapkan, rekomendasi ini akan\r\nmeningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas tridharma perguruan tinggi, yang\r\npada akhirnya akan berdampak positif pada peningkatan mutu lulusan dan\r\nkontribusi universitas bagi pembangunan masyarakat.",

      "abstract": "Higher education institutions have a crucial role in the socioeconomic development of the nation through the creation of quality Human\r\nResources (HR). In this context, the performance of lecturers as human\r\ncapital is the primary determinant of the academic organization's success.\r\nPreliminary observations at La Tansa Mashiro University indicate that\r\nlecturer performance is not yet optimal, as suggested by issues in teamwork,\r\ninterpersonal communication, and the level of competency. Previous studies\r\nhave widely examined the partial effect of these three variables on\r\nperformance, but there remains a research gap. Not many studies have\r\nspecifically explored the role of competency as a mediating variable in the\r\nrelationship between teamwork and interpersonal communication and lecturer\r\nperformance, especially in the context of higher education. This research aims\r\nto fill that gap and provide data-driven practical solutions to comprehensively\r\nenhance lecturers' academic performance.\r\nThe main objective of this study is to deeply analyze the structural\r\nmodel connecting these variables. Specifically, this research seeks to test\r\nseveral hypotheses: first, to analyze the direct effect of teamwork on lecturer\r\nperformance; second, to analyze the direct effect of interpersonal\r\ncommunication on lecturer performance, and third, to analyze the direct\r\neffect of lecturer competency on lecturer performance. Furthermore, another\r\nimportant objective is to test the indirect effect of teamwork on lecturer\r\nperformance through lecturer competency, as well as the indirect effect of\r\ninterpersonal communication on lecturer performance through lecturer\r\ncompetency.\r\nA quantitative approach using a survey method was employed in this\r\nstudy. The study population comprised all 121 permanent lecturers at La\r\nTansa Mashiro University. The research sample was determined using the\r\nSlovin formula with a 5% error rate, yielding a sample size of 93 lecturers.\r\nThe sampling technique applied was simple random sampling to ensure fair\r\nrepresentation of the population. Data were collected through a questionnaire\r\ninstrument using a 1-5 Likert scale, the validity and reliability of which have\r\nbeen tested. For data analysis, the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)\r\nmethod based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) was utilized with the aid of the\r\nSmartPLS 4 software, which is effective for testing the structural model\r\n(inner model) and the direct and indirect effects among variables.\r\nThe results of the SEM analysis demonstrate significant findings.\r\nTeamwork (β=0.186; t=2.203; p=0.014) and interpersonal communication\r\n(β=0.105; t=1.741; p=0.041) both have a positive and significant direct effect\r\non lecturer performance. Moreover, lecturer competency exhibits a much stronger and more significant direct effect on performance (β=0.719; t=7.201;\r\np=0.000).In addition, it is proven that teamwork (β=0.444; t=5.796; p=0.000)\r\nand interpersonal communication (β=0.264; t=3.903; p=0.000) also have a\r\npositive and significant indirect effect on performance through lecturer\r\ncompetency. The R2 value for performance is 0.850 (strong category) and the\r\nR\r\n2 for competence is 0.648 (moderate category), indicating that the proposed\r\nmodel has excellent predictive power.\r\nBased on the analysis results, several main conclusions can be\r\ndrawn. First, overall, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and lecturer\r\ncompetency make a significant and positive contribution to improving\r\nlecturer performance at La Tansa Mashiro University. Second, the crucial\r\nfinding indicates that lecturer competency acts as a significant partial\r\nmediator. This suggests that improvements in teamwork and interpersonal\r\ncommunication not only have a direct effect on performance but also\r\ncontribute through the mechanism of enhancing lecturer competency first.\r\nThird, among the three independent variables examined, lecturer competence\r\nhas the largest direct effect on performance, confirming its role as the\r\ndominant factor.\r\nTheoretically, this finding enriches the body of knowledge in\r\nEducation Management, particularly in formulating a model for enhancing\r\nlecturer performance by positioning competence as a key mediator.\r\nPractically, the research results provide a clear roadmap for the leadership of\r\nLa Tansa Mashiro University and similar higher education institutions. Policy\r\nrecommendations that can be implemented include: designing interventions to\r\nbuild a culture of collaboration and solid teamwork; conducting regular\r\ntraining on interpersonal communication skills and conflict management; and\r\nmaking sustainable competence development programs (training, further\r\nstudy, certification) an core strategy for performance improvement. The\r\nimplementation of a performance appraisal and reward system that aligns\r\nwith teamwork, communication, and competence development should also be\r\nconsidered. It is hoped that these recommendations will increase the\r\nproductivity and quality of the tridharma perguruan tinggi (the three pillars of\r\nhigher education: teaching, research, and community service), which will\r\nultimately have a positive impact on the quality of graduates and the\r\nuniversity's contribution to community development.",
