PENERAPAN PASAL 56 UU TPPO NOMOR 21 TAHUN 2007 DI PROVINSI BANTENAKHMADAGUS KARNAWIauthorLaw Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Human Trafficking, Article 56 explains that Article 56 Prevention of the Crime of Human Trafficking aims to prevent the occurrence of the Crime of Human Trafficking as early as possible. The issues discussed are how to apply Article 56 to the crime of human trafficking in Banten Province, as well as how to enforce the law on the crime of human trafficking in Banten Province. This type of research is normative legal research. Based on the results of the research, the Implementation of Article 56 of the Crime of Human Trafficking in Banten Province requires the involvement of all government sectors, private sector, Banten Human Trafficking Victim Protection Volunteers, international agencies, community organizations, and employment opportunities provided by the Banten provincial government.; Law Enforcement of Human Trafficking Crimes in Banten Province is based on Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning Human Trafficking Crimes. Law enforcement in Banten Province has not been effective, seen from the results of the Serang District Court's decision, there are decisions below the minimum and maximum of Article 4 exploited outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, punishable by imprisonment of at least 3 (three) years and a maximum of 15 (fifteen) years and a fine of at least Rp120,000,000.00 (one hundred and twenty million rupiah) and a maximum of Rp600,000,000.00 (six hundred million rupiah).
