For this research, the researcher used qualitative case-study research design and thematic analysis for identifying, analyzing, classifying, describing, and summarizing themes present in a data set. The sample of this research was class 8F with total 36 students as the sample, and the researcher used purposive sampling. The data collecting technique used in this research was observation, interview, and documentation. Based on findings, it is found that tutorial video is beneficial for procedure text composition, students also experienced challenges in language translation, incomplete information, and relevancy issue. Furthermore, there were improvement on students’ procedure text: the clarity of writing, detail, grammar, score, and vocabulary.
