description: Trade secret is information unknown to the public in the fields of technology and  business that possesses economic value and is kept confidential by the trade secret  owner. The protection of trade secrets has legal provisions stipulated in the  Indonesian Trade Secret Law (UURD), but the implementation of this protection  faces obstacles, such as those found in the Productivity Improvement Consulting  Program. In this program, the Researcher conducted an analysis with two problem  identifications. First, how is the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) regulated in the  cooperation organized by the Banten Province Manpower and Transmigration  Office and PT Integrasi Produktivitas Indonesia? Second, what is the legal  protection for trade secret owners involved in the Productivity Improvement  Consulting project based on the UURD? The theories used by the Researcher in  this study are the Theory of Legal Certainty and the Theory of Legal Protection.  The research method used is juridical-empirical, utilizing primary, secondary, and  tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques involved literature review and  interviews. All data were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the NDA  regulation was not implemented by the Banten Province Manpower and  Transmigration Office and PT Integrasi Produktivitas Indonesia in the Productivity  Improvement Consulting Program, thus failing to provide legal certainty regarding  the confidential information disclosed by the Company. Legal protection based on  Article 5 paragraph (1) letter d of the UURD can be applied by creating a written  agreement, however, the Company did not make efforts to protect its confidential  information. Therefore, legal protection cannot be granted to the Company. The  research suggestions are that NDA regulations should be made in accordance with  the UURD, and the government should socialize the protection of trade secrets to  relevant companies
