	bibo:abstract "Refined sugar is a white crystalline sugar with a high level of purity produced from \r\nthe processing of raw sugar. PT XYZ still faces challenges related to production \r\nefficiency and sustainability, as indicated by a defect rate of 4 to 5%, which exceeds \r\nthe company’s target of 2%, process time inefficiencies, suboptimal resource \r\nutilization, and the occurrence of workplace accidents. These conditions indicate a \r\ngap between the current performance and an efficient and sustainable production \r\nstate. This study aims to evaluate sustainability efficiency in the economic, \r\nenvironmental, and social dimensions, identify the causes of waste, and develop \r\nimprovement proposals using the Sustainable Value Stream Mapping (Sus-VSM) \r\napproach. The research was conducted on refined sugar products R1 and R2 using \r\ndata from August to October 2025 obtained through observation, interviews, and \r\nbrainstorming. The analysis was carried out using Sus-VSM, Process Activity \r\nMapping, Fishbone Diagram, and the 5W+1H method. The results show that the \r\nValue Added Time increased from 82% to 87% for product R1 and from 79% to 84% \r\nfor product R2. The defect rate also decreased from 4 to 5% to 2%. These \r\nimprovements were achieved through the elimination of non-value-added activities, \r\nparticularly waiting time and re-cleaning processes. The findings demonstrate that \r\nSus-VSM is effective in improving efficiency and sustainability performance and \r\ncan serve as a basis for continuous production process improvement."^^xsd:string;
