EPrints Repository UNTIRTAPENGARUH MEDIA DAN NUTRISI TERHADAP KESEREMPAKAN TUMBUH DAN KESERAGAMAN BIBIT BAWANG MERAH ASAL BIJI SEJATIMISNAHMISNAHauthorThe research was aimed to determine the influence of seedbed media on seed germination and the uniformity of shallot seedlings from true seeds and to determine the effect of nutrient watering on the uniformity of shallot seeds from true seeds. The research was conducted from June to August 2024 at the Greenhouse Laboratory, Agroindustry and Biomedicine of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Serpong. The study used the Qualitative Descriptive method and Complete Group Random Design (RAKL) with two factors, namely the medium (m) and the concentration of nutrient solution (p). The results of this study show that Top Soil+ Cocopeat planting medium is proven to be superior for the growth of shallot seeds from seeds. This blend produces the best performance in all aspects as its nutrients create an optimal growing environment. Nutritional needs change as they grow. The concentration of MS 50% provides the best root dry weight at 2 weeks of age (0.0023 g), while MS 100% results in optimal leaf length at 4 weeks of age (12.17 cm). This variation in yield shows the importance of nutrient balance in the early stages of growth. The combination of planting medium and nutrient concentration greatly determines the growth of shallot seedlings.
