TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA</mods:title></mods:titleInfo><mods:name type="personal"><mods:namePart type="given">Laela Rahma</mods:namePart><mods:namePart type="family">Julianti</mods:namePart><mods:role><mods:roleTerm type="text">author</mods:roleTerm></mods:role></mods:name><mods:abstract>Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas, yang menjadi penyebab hasil belajar mereka kurang optimal. Hal ini menekankan betapa pentingnya memilih model pembelajaran yang bisa membantu peningkatan motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Self Directed Learning merupakan salah satu model yang digunakan sesuai. Tujuan studi ini adalah guna menyelidiki pengaruh penerapan model Self-Directed Learning bagi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Studi ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode Quasi-Experiment serta Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang mengaitkan dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen serta kelas kontrol. Subjek studi ini ialah 87 peserta didik kelas XI.3 dan XI.10 SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang. Data pada studi ini dikumpulkan melalui hasil Pre-Test serta Post-Test kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan instrumen tes ganda serta uraian. Analisis data dilaksanakan melalui pengujian Mann-Whitney U, dengan hipotesis H₀ yang menyatakan bahwasanya tidak ditemukan dampak bagi model Self-Directed Learning bagi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik serta H₁ yang menyatakan bahwasanya ada pengaruhnya. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan nilai Asymp. Sig &lt; 0,001 memperlihatkan bahwasanya penerimaan bagi H₁ serta penolakan bagi H₀.
