Kata Kunci : Rancang bangun, Model kapal nelayan, lambung kapal V – hull shape, vacuum bagging. abstract: This study discusses the design and construction of a fishing boat model with a V-Hull shape using a polyurethane foam mold and the vacuum bagging method, based on the type of boat commonly used by fishermen at Karangantu Harbor. The process began with direct measurement of the original vessel, followed by digital modeling using SolidWorks and Maxsurf. The mold was made from polyurethane foam due to its lightweight and formable characteristics. The hull manufacturing process employed the vacuum bagging method to produce a highquality composite structure. Performance testing of the model included assessments of weight, speed, maneuverability, and rolling behavior. The results indicated that the model demonstrated good stability and low hydrodynamic resistance. This method proved to be efficient and applicable for the development of small-scale fishing boat designs.
