One of the methods used is the syllable method. This study aims to: 1) describe the feasibility of developing Flash Card learning media for traditional food syllables to train early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students; 2) to describe the process of using media to improve early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students; 3) to describe student responses to the use of Flash Card learning media with the theme of local wisdom on traditional food to train early reading skills in grade 1 elementary school students. The development process was carried out through the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results showed that this media was included in the "Very Feasible" category with an average feasibility percentage of 82%, including assessments from media experts (80.26%), material experts (93.3%), and language experts (72.25%). In addition, the response from students showed a satisfaction level of 79%, which was also included in the "Very Feasible" category. This media has proven to be effective and interesting as a learning aid, especially in introducing Banten local wisdom through traditional food material.
