"Parenting patterns are an interaction between parents and children, where parents intend to stimulate their children by changing knowledge, behavior, and values that are considered most appropriate by parents, so that children can be independent, and grow and develop healthily and optimally. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of parenting patterns on the discipline of children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto research method. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that the t-value of -1.580 <1.655, so it was concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected. This means that there is no influence of parenting patterns on the discipline of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten, Taktakan District, Serang City, Banten. The results of the coefficient of determination in the simple linear regression test indicate that parenting patterns have an influence of 1.6% on the discipline of children aged 5-6 years, while the remaining 98.4% is the influence of other factors not studied.\r\nParenting; Child Discipline; Early Childhood"^^ .
