Labor subject: T Technology (General) description: The battery electric vehicle (BEV) industry in Indonesia has experienced substantial expansion in line with the government’s commitment to accelerating the energy transition. Despite this progress, the sector continues to encounter several constraints, including a concentrated market structure, insufficient supporting infrastructure, and intensifying rivalry among firms. Accordingly, a thorough analysis is required to assess the industry from the perspectives of market structure, firm conduct, and overall performance.This research examines the BEV passenger car industry in Indonesia using the Structure–Conduct–Performance (SCP) framework and develops strategic recommendations through SWOT analysis and the 4P Marketing Mix approach. The study utilizes secondary data covering the 2020–2025 period obtained from Gabungan Industri Kendaraan Bermotor Indonesia (GAIKINDO), Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), and Kementerian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia, complemented by primary data collected through interviews and expert questionnaires. The findings reveal that the BEV industry exhibits an oligopolistic market structure with a relatively high concentration level. Firm conduct is reflected in competitive pricing policies, product differentiation strategies, and the expansion of distribution channels and promotional activities. In terms of performance, the industry demonstrates a positive trend in revenue growth.
