Sistem yang dikembangkan mengombinasikan metode elektrokoagulasi dan filtrasi berlapis yang terdiri dari sediment filter, cartridge magnesium (Mg) filter, cation resin filter, serta chlorine taste odor filter untuk meningkatkan kualitas air payau menjadi air yang lebih bersih. Mikrokontroler ESP32 digunakan sebagai pusat kendali dan terintegrasi dengan sensor suhu DS18B20, sensor pH PH-4502C, dan sensor TDS untuk memantau parameter kualitas air secara real-time melalui platform ThingSpeak, aplikasi ThingView, dan tampilan LCD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Plomp yang meliputi tahap penelitian pendahuluan, pembuatan prototipe, dan penilaian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pada tegangan 12 volt, variasi waktu proses memengaruhi efektivitas pengolahan air. Efisiensi peningkatan pH tertinggi diperoleh pada waktu 90 menit sebesar 99,01%, sedangkan efisiensi penurunan TDS tertinggi diperoleh pada waktu 60 menit sebesar 22,41%. Sistem monitoring IoT mampu menampilkan data secara stabil dan akurat. Secara keseluruhan, prototipe ini mampu meningkatkan kualitas air menuju kondisi netral, menurunkan kadar zat terlarut, serta memungkinkan pemantauan jarak jauh, sehingga berpotensi menjadi solusi efektif dalam pengelolaan air bersih di wilayah pesisir. abstract: This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Water Treatment Plant (WTP) prototype as an alternative solution to overcome clean water scarcity in Pontang Legon Village, Serang Regency. The developed system combines electrocoagulation and multi-layer filtration processes consisting of a sediment filter, magnesium (Mg) cartridge filter, cation resin filter, and chlorine taste odor filter to improve brackish water quality into cleaner water. An ESP32 microcontroller is used as the main controller and is integrated with a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a PH-4502C pH sensor, and a TDS sensor to monitor water quality parameters in real time through the ThingSpeak platform, ThingView application, and an LCD display The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the Plomp development model, which includes preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment phases. The experimental results show that at a voltage of 12 volts, variations in processing time significantly affect treatment performance. The highest pH improvement efficiency of 99.01% was achieved at 90 minutes, while the highest TDS removal efficiency of 22.41% was obtained at 60 minutes. The IoT monitoring system is able to display stable and reliable data.
