"This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based \r\nWater Treatment Plant (WTP) prototype as an alternative solution to overcome \r\nclean water scarcity in Pontang Legon Village, Serang Regency. The developed \r\nsystem combines electrocoagulation and multi-layer filtration processes consisting \r\nof a sediment filter, magnesium (Mg) cartridge filter, cation resin filter, and chlorine \r\ntaste odor filter to improve brackish water quality into cleaner water. An ESP32 \r\nmicrocontroller is used as the main controller and is integrated with a DS18B20 \r\ntemperature sensor, a PH-4502C pH sensor, and a TDS sensor to monitor water \r\nquality parameters in real time through the ThingSpeak platform, ThingView \r\napplication, and an LCD display \r\nThe research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using \r\nthe Plomp development model, which includes preliminary research, prototyping, \r\nand assessment phases. \r\nThe experimental results show that at a voltage of 12 volts, variations in processing \r\ntime significantly affect treatment performance. The highest pH improvement \r\nefficiency of 99.01% was achieved at 90 minutes, while the highest TDS removal \r\nefficiency of 22.41% was obtained at 60 minutes. The IoT monitoring system is able \r\nto display stable and reliable data. Overall, the prototype is capable of improving \r\nwater quality toward neutral conditions, reducing dissolved solids, and enabling \r\nremote monitoring, indicating its potential as an effective solution for clean water \r\nmanagement in coastal areas."^^ .
