Objective: To determine the relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Regional Hospital, Serang City. Methods: This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 70 respondents. The instruments used were the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) to measure anxiety levels and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to assess sleep quality. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between the two variables. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced mild to severe anxiety and poor sleep quality. The chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship, with higher anxiety levels contributing to poorer sleep quality. Conclusion: There is a relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. The majority of patients experience mild to severe anxiety with poor sleep quality, with higher anxiety levels contributing to poorer sleep quality.
