"Digitalization in the banking industry requires human resource management\r\nstrategies that can sustain employee performance. This study aims to examine the\r\neffects of digitalization and innovation-based training on employee performance,\r\nboth directly and indirectly through employee engagement at BNI Region 46\r\nBanten. A quantitative explanatory design was employed. The sample consisted of\r\n150 employees selected using proportional random sampling from several main\r\nbranch offices. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial\r\nLeast Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4, involving assessment of the outer\r\nmodel (validity and reliability) and inner model (path coefficients, R-square, and\r\nmediation testing). The results show that digitalization and innovation-based\r\ntraining have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Both\r\nvariables also have positive and significant effects on employee engagement, which\r\nin turn positively and significantly influences employee performance. Specific\r\nindirect effect analysis indicates that employee engagement partially mediates the\r\ninfluence of digitalization and innovation-based training on employee\r\nperformance. These findings highlight that improving employee performance in the\r\nera of digital banking cannot rely solely on technology investment and training\r\nprograms but must be integrated with systematic and continuous engagement\r\nmanagement strategies."^^ .
