description: Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a vital role in developing cognitive abilities in children aged 5–6 years. This study aims to examine the implementation of educational playmats to support cognitive development at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Pandeglang, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and provide solutions to enhance their effectiveness. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results indicate that structured lesson planning with playmats makes learning more engaging, interactive, and meaningful,  fostering cognitive, social, motor, and emotional development. Implementation involves stimulating critical thinking and creativity, while evaluation is conducted through observation of children’s work, repetition of materials, and assessment of basic skills. Supporting factors include attractive playmat designs and peer interaction, whereas inhibiting factors involve limited media, space, and attention span. Solutions include adding media, providing personalized teacher guidance, and maintaining effective communication with parents.
