Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif menggunakan format penelaahan soal dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan program Anates Ver. 4. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kualitas soal sudah cukup baik dan sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar, akan tetapi terdapat beberapa soal yang tidak sesuai dengan indikator serta perlu adanya perbaikan aspek konstruksi dan bahasa pada beberapa soal, validitas soal menunjukkan terdapat 12 soal (60%) dinyatakan valid dan 8 soal (40%) dinyatakan tidak valid, nilai reliabilitas soal sebesar 0,52 sehingga soal memiliki tingkat reliabilitas yang cukup, untuk daya pembeda sebanyak 7 butir soal (35%) memiliki daya pembeda lemah, 3 butir soal (15%) daya pembeda cukup, 6 butir soal (30%) daya pembeda baik, dan 4 butir soal (20%) daya pembeda sangat baik, tingkat kesukaran soal menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 4 butir soal (20%) tergolong soal sulit/sukar, 12 butir soal (60%) tergolong soal sedang, dan 4 butir soal (20%) tergolong soal mudah, untuk efektivitas pengecoh sebanyak 3 butir soal (15%) memiliki pengecoh yang sangat baik, 6 butir soal (30%) memiliki pengecoh baik, 8 butir soal (40%) memiliki pengecoh yang kurang baik, dan sebanyak 3 butir soal (15%) memiliki pengecoh buruk. Guru hendaknya memperhatikan penyusunan butir soal yang berkualitas, karena sebelumnya tidak dilakukan analisis butir soal Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) Sejarah Indonesia. Analisis butir soal pada penelitian ini terdiri atas tipe soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Soal yang baik yaitu soal yang memenuhi kriteria validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru, sekolah, dan MGMP bekerja sama dalam melakukan analisis butir soal secara berkelanjutan guna menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran. abstract: This study aims to identify the quality of test items as an assessment instrument based on their appropriateness in terms of content, construction, and language, as well as to examine the results of item analysis in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power, and the effectiveness of distractors in the Odd Semester Final Examination for the Indonesian History subject in Grade XII Social Sciences at SMAN 7 Kota Serang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of Grade XII Social Sciences. Data collection was carried out through documentation. The obtained data were analyzed qualitatively using an item review format and quantitatively using Microsoft Excel and Anates Ver. 4 software. The findings show that the overall quality of the test items is fairly good and aligned with the basic competencies; however, some items were not in accordance with the indicators and require improvement in terms of construction and language aspects. The validity analysis revealed that 12 items (60%) were valid and 8 items (40%) were invalid. The reliability coefficient was 0.52, indicating a moderate level of reliability. Regarding discrimination power, 7 items (35%) had weak discrimination, 3 items (15%) had sufficient discrimination, 6 items (30%) had good discrimination, and 4 items (20%) had very good discrimination. The difficulty level analysis showed that 4 items (20%) were classified as difficult, 12 items (60%) as moderate, and 4 items (20%) as easy. In terms of distractor effectiveness, 3 items (15%) had very good distractors, 6 items (30%) had good distractors, 8 items (40%) had less effective distractors, and 3 items (15%) had poor distractors. Teachers are encouraged to pay attention to the development of high-quality test items, considering that item analysis for the Indonesian History PAS had not been conducted previously. The item analysis in this study was conducted on 20 multiple-choice questions. Good test items are those that meet the criteria of validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power, and distractor effectiveness.
