description: This study aims to improve the singing ability of students in class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 1 Petir through the application of the Solfeggio method. This method is a pedagogical approach in music education that emphasizes solmization exercises to strengthen the understanding of pitch patterns, intonation, and intervals. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design consisting of two cycles, each involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, singing performance tests, and documentation.  The results showed a significant improvement in students' singing abilities from the pre-cycle to Cycle 1, with further enhancement in Cycle 2. The improvement was evident in aspects such as intonation accuracy, articulation, pitch precision, and expressive performance. Moreover, students' motivation and participation in the learning process increased after the consistent application of the Solfeggio method.  It can be concluded that the Solfeggio method is effective in enhancing students’ singing skills. This method is recommended for continued implementation in vocal music education at the secondary school level. This research also opens opportunities for further development of the Solfeggio method in other vocal learning contexts.
