Namun, pengetahuan siswa SMP, termasuk anggota PMR, mengenai BHD masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif seperti Games Based Learning dan simulasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi kondisi kegawatdaruratan.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh edukasi BHD dengan metode Games Based Learning dan simulasi terhadap pengetahuan siswa PMR di SMPN 1 Labuan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 siswa PMR di SMPN 1 Labuan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner pengetahuan BHD yang diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi edukasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Paired T-Test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan BHD setelah diberikan edukasi menggunakan metode Games Based Learning dan simulasi. Uji Paired T-Test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik antara nilai pretest dan posttest (p = 0,000 < 0,05). Simpulan: Edukasi Bantuan Hidup Dasar dengan metode Games Based Learning dan simulasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswa PMR di SMPN 1 Labuan dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai metode pembelajaran BHD di sekolah. abstract: Background: Cardiac arrest is an emergency condition that can cause death in a short time if not immediately treated with Basic Life Support. However, the knowledge of junior high school students, including members of the Red Cross (RCH), regarding BHD is still limited. Therefore, Interesting and effective learning methods such as Games Based Learning and simulation are needed to improve students' knowledge and readiness in facing emergency conditions. Objective: To determine the effect of BHD education with Games Based Learning and simulation methods on the knowledge of RCH students at SMPN 1 Labuan. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The research sample was 50 RCH students at SMPN 1 Labuan who were selected used the Total sampling technique. The research instrument was a BHD knowledge questionnaire that was measured before and after the educational intervention. Data analysis was carried out used the Paired T-Test test. Results: The results showed an increase in the average BHD knowledge score after being given education used the Games Based Learning and simulation methods. The Paired T-Test test showed a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (p = 0.000 < 0.05).
