description: Background: Cardiac arrest is an emergency condition that can cause death in a short time if not immediately treated with Basic Life Support. However, the knowledge of junior high school students, including members of the Red Cross (RCH), regarding BHD is still limited. Therefore, Interesting and effective learning methods such as Games Based Learning and simulation are needed to improve students' knowledge and readiness in facing emergency conditions. Objective: To determine the effect of BHD education with Games Based Learning and simulation methods on the knowledge of RCH students at SMPN 1 Labuan. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The research sample was 50 RCH students at SMPN 1 Labuan who were selected used the Total sampling technique. The research instrument was a BHD knowledge questionnaire that was measured before and after the educational intervention. Data analysis was carried out used the Paired T-Test test. Results: The results showed an increase in the average BHD knowledge score after being given education used the Games Based Learning and simulation methods. The Paired T-Test test showed a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Conclusion: Basic Life Support education used the Games Based Learning and simulation methods has a significant effect on increasing the knowledge of PMR students at SMPN 1 Labuan and can be recommended as a BHD learning method in schools.
