@phdthesis{eprintuntirta58573, month = {February}, note = {Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika merupakan salah satu tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran, karena dengan adanya kemampuan ini siswa akan lebih mengerti akan konsep materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan menggunakan dua model pembelajaran yang berbeda, yaitu model Missouri Mathematics Project dan Model Explicit Instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain The Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang berupa soal urain. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 7 Kota Serang, dengan sampel kelas VII G dan VII H yang berjumlah 80 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang diajar dengan model Missouri Matematics Project dan rata-rata tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang diajar dengan model Explicit Instrucion.}, year = {2026}, author = {Thalia Prazella}, school = {Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa}, title = {PERBANDINGAN MODEL MISSOURI MATHEMATICS PROJECT (MMP) DENGAN MODEL EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION (EI) DALAM KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA}, keywords = {Missouri Mahematics Project, Explicit Instruction, Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Missouri Mathematics Project, Explicit Instruction, Conceptual Understanding Ability}, url = {https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/58573/}, abstract = {Mathematical Concept Understanding Ability is one of the important objectives in learning, because with this ability students will better understand the concept of learning materials. This study aims to compare students' mathematical concept understanding ability using two different learning models, namely the Missouri Mathematics Project model and the Explicit Instruction Model. This study is a type of quasi-experimental research with the design of The Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Sampling using the Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument is a mathematical concept understanding ability test in the form of essay questions. This study was conducted on grade VII students of SMPN 7 Kota Serang, with a sample of grades VII G and VII H totaling 80 students. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, there is a difference in the average level of mathematical concept understanding ability taught with the Missouri Mathematics Project model and the average level of mathematical concept understanding ability taught with the Explicit Instruction model.} }
