Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Uses and Gratification dengan variabel (X) terpaan konten berita (frekuensi, durasi dan atensi) dan variabel (Y) motif mengakses tautan (motif informasi, motif identitas pribadi, motif integrasi sosial dan motif hiburan). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh followers akun Instagram @tangsel.life dengan sampel 110 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan via Google form dengan 22 item pertanyaan menggunakan skala ordinal. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan terpaan konten berita pada kategori sangat tinggi (93,5\%) dan motif followers mengakses tautan berita sebesar (86\%). Uji regresi linear sederhana membuktikan adanya pengaruh signifikan dengan nilai t-hitung 9,793 {\ensuremath{>}} t-tabel 1,659 (sig. 0,001), sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Koefisien korelasi yang dianalisis menggunakan Rank Spearman sebesar 0,705 menunjukkan hubungan sangat kuat, dengan koefisien determinasi 47\% terpaan konten berita memiliki pengaruh terhadap motif followers mengakses tautan berita, sementara 53\% sisanya dipengaruhi dengan faktor lain. This study uses the Uses and Gratification theory with variables (X) exposure to news content (frequency, duration and attention) and variables (Y) motives for accessing links (information motives, personal identity motives, social integration motives and entertainment motives). The research approach used was a quantitative approach with an explanatory method. The population in this study was all followers of the Instagram account @tangsel.life, with a sample of 110 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms with 22 questions using an ordinal scale. The descriptive analysis results show that news content exposure is categorized as very high (93.5\%), and followers' motives for accessing news links are categorized as high (86\%). A simple linear regression test demonstrated a significant effect, with a calculated t-value of 9.793 {\ensuremath{>}} t-table 1.659 (sig. 0.001), thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. The correlation coefficient analyzed using Spearman's Rank Test of 0.705 indicates a very strong relationship, with a coefficient of determination of 47\% for news content exposure influencing followers motives for accessing news links, while the remaining 53\% is influenced by other factors.
