However, there are still obstacles in its implementation due to suboptimal time management among nurses. Globally and nationally, the quality of nursing documentation remains a challenge, mainly due to ineffective time management among practicing nurses. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the time management of practicing nurses and the documentation of nursing care in the inpatient ward of the Banten Regional General Hospital in 2025. Methods: This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all 162 practicing nurses in the inpatient ward, with a sample size of 127 respondents selected using Simple random sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires on time management and nursing care documentation that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between the two variables. Results: Most respondents had good time management (82.7%) and documented nursing care well (89.8%). The test results showed a significant relationship between the time management of practicing nurses and the documentation of nursing care (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Time management is key to nursing care documentation. The better the nurses' time management, the better the nursing care documentation.
