%X The development of information technology has driven significant transformation in human resource management, particularly in payroll systems. Many small and medium industries (SMIs) still use manual methods such as Microsoft Excel, which are prone to errors, data loss, and delays. This study aims to design a simple, efficient, and flexible web-based payroll system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, with a case study at CV. Gemilang Sukses Mandiri.   The developed system includes automated payroll calculations, allowances, deductions, as well as integration with attendance and loan recording modules. The development process was conducted iteratively using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database, supported by UML-based system design and tested using the black-box testing method.  The results show that the system improves operational efficiency, minimizes human error, and accelerates payroll processing. This research is expected to provide a practical solution for small and medium industries in managing payroll systems professionally and in an integrated manner
%Z Perancangan sistem penggajian berbasis web pada CV. Gemilang Sukses Mandiri dirancang untuk mengotomatisasi proses perhitungan gaji, tunjangan, dan potongan karyawan guna meminimalkan risiko human error. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan modul absensi berbasis lokasi (GPS) dan foto wajah untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan serta akurasi data kehadiran. Selain itu, adanya fitur manajemen pinjaman dan pengajuan izin secara terpusat membantu mempermudah administrasi perusahaan serta memberikan transparansi bagi karyawan dalam mengakses riwayat slip gaji secara mandiri. Implementasi metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) memastikan pengembangan sistem berjalan lebih cepat dan adaptif sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM).
