Data were collected using descriptive qualitative methods through classroom observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results showed that teachers use several learning processes with flashcards, which include visual, verbal, and audio processes, and guess the word exercises that help students remember and pronounce English Vocabulary. Students with intellectual barriers responded positively to the use of flashcards, showing interest and improvement despite the slow tempo. Flashcards proved to be an interesting learning medium so that students are more enthusiastic and easy to understand vocabulary material. Research also identifies challenges in teaching, such as difficulties in pronunciation of difficult vocabulary, but these can be overcome by repetition and reinforcement from teachers.
