Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental yang melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Sebanyak 30 mahasiswa dipilih secara sampling kenyamanan dari 50 anggota klub yang aktif dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kedua kelompok diberikan tes pra-tes dan pasca-tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berbicara, sementara hanya kelompok eksperimen yang menerima intervensi melalui latihan berbicara menggunakan aplikasi OME TV. Kinerja berbicara mahasiswa dievaluasi berdasarkan kelancaran, pengucapan, dan kepercayaan diri. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS, termasuk uji normalitas dan homogenitas, diikuti dengan uji t sampel independen untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dalam hasil post-test (p = 0.011 < 0.05). Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata yang lebih tinggi (84,93) dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (83,23). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi OME TV secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dengan menyediakan interaksi autentik dan komunikasi real-time. Oleh karena itu, OME TV dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai alat digital pelengkap yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris tingkat universitas. abstract: The objective of this study was to examine the effect of using the OME TV application on students’ speaking ability at the English Debating Club of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This study employed a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental group and a control group. A total of 30 students were selected using convenience sampling from 50 active club members and were divided into two groups. Both groups were administered a pre-test and a post-test to measure speaking ability, while only the experimental group received treatment through speaking practice using the OME TV application. Students’ speaking performance was assessed based on fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS, including normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an independent samples t-test to test the research hypothesis. The findings revealed a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the post-test results (p = 0.011 < 0.05). The experimental group obtained a higher mean score (84.93) compared to the control group (83.23). These results indicate that the use of the OME TV application significantly improved students’ speaking ability by providing authentic interaction and real-time communication. Therefore, OME TV can be considered an effective supplementary digital tool for enhancing speaking skills in university-level English learning.
