Mereka dibina melalui pelatihan, keterampilan, dan pendidikan agar siap kembali ke masyarakat. Umumnya anak binaan di LPKA berusia 15-19 tahun dan berada pada masa yang krusial. Di usia mereka yang mengalami perubahan fisik, sosial dan emosi, berpengaruh pada cara mereka bertindak dan mengambil keputusan. Lamanya masa pembinaan dengan kegiatan berulang serta minimnya paparan dunia luar memengaruhi kondisi psikologis anak binaan di LPKA. Perasaan jenuh, homesick, kesepian, pengalaman masa lalu serta perasaan cemas akan masa depan setelah bebas turut menyelimuti anak binaan. Dorongan positif memungkinkan mereka menemukan makna hidup lebih mendalam dan perencanaan karier lebih matang. Maka di sinilah peran bimbingan dan konseling membantu anak binaan mengatasi permasalahannya melalui pendekatan dan intervensi yang tepat melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan positif yang signifikan pada indikator yang diukur. Dengan demikian, LPKA Kelas I Tangerang diharapkan bisa menjadi sarana yang tepat untuk mewadahi program bimbingan dan konseling secara berkelanjutan agar anak binaan bisa tetap memiliki ruang aman untuk mengutarakan pikiran dan perasaannya tanpa takut dihakimi. abstract: The Class I Tangerang Correctional Institution (LPKA) is a rehabilitation center for juveniles in conflict with the law. They are provided with training, skills development, and education to prepare them for reintegration into society. Generally, juveniles in LPKA are aged 15-19 and are at a crucial stage. At this age, they experience physical, social, and emotional changes, which influence how they act and make decisions. The long period of rehabilitation, with repetitive activities and minimal exposure to the outside world, impacts the psychological well-being of juveniles in LPKA. Feelings of boredom, homesickness, loneliness, past experiences, and anxiety about the future after release also affect the juveniles. Positive encouragement allows them to find a deeper meaning in life and plan their careers more thoroughly. This is where guidance and counseling play a role, helping juveniles overcome their problems through appropriate approaches and interventions. Quantitative data analysis, conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, showed a significant positive improvement in the measured indicators.
