TY - THES N1 - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen literasi STEM pada konsep bioteknologi, mengetahui kelayakan instrumen berdasarkan uji ahli, serta mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap instrumen tes yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research (BEAR) Assessment System yang meliputi tahap construct map, item design, outcome space, dan measurement model. Instrumen yang dikembangkan terdiri atas tes pengetahuan literasi STEM, kuesioner sikap STEM, dan lembar observasi keterampilan STEM. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh lima ahli, sedangkan uji coba tes pengetahuan melibatkan 126 peserta didik SMA di Provinsi Banten. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Rasch dengan bantuan program R (eRm package). Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa instrumen layak digunakan dengan catatan perlu dilakukan revisi. Analisis model Rasch menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes pengetahuan literasi STEM memenuhi kriteria reliabilitas pada kategori cukup reliabel sebesar 0,6708, valid serta kemampuan peserta didik lebih tinggi daripada tingkat kesulitan soal. Respon peserta didik terhadap instrumen tes berada pada kategori praktis dengan rata-rata sebesar 77%. Dengan demikian, instrumen yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi literasi STEM peserta didik pada pembelajaran biologi SMA. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research (BEAR) Assessment System design, which consists of the construct map, item design, outcome space, and measurement model stages. The developed instruments comprised a STEM literacy knowledge test, a STEM attitude questionnaire, and a STEM skills observation sheet. Instrument validation was conducted by five experts, while the field test of the STEM literacy knowledge test involved 126 senior high school students in Banten Province, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the Rasch model with the assistance of the R program (eRm package). The feasibility test results indicated that the instrument was suitable for use with necessary revisions. Rasch model analysis revealed that the STEM literacy knowledge test demonstrated acceptable reliability (0.6708), satisfactory validity, and that students? average ability was higher than the item difficulty level. Students? responses to the test instrument fell into the practical category, with an average percentage of 77%. Therefore, the developed instrument can be used as an evaluation tool to assess students? STEM literacy in senior high school biology learning.
