            note = {Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana relasi kuasa terbentuk dan dijalankan dalam kontestasi Pemilihan Umum Raya (Pemira) Mahasiswa di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (FKIP Untirta) tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi fenomenologi untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk pengetahuan yang disampaikan oleh tim sukses dan diinternalisasi oleh pasangan calon, serta berbagai aturan yang mengikat selama proses kontestasi berlangsung, yang pada akhirnya memengaruhi pemahaman dan arah gerak pasangan calon dalam kontestasi Pemira. Teori kekuasaan Michel Foucault digunakan sebagai pisau analisis, khususnya konsep wacana dan kekuatan disiplin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuasaan dalam Pemira tidak bekerja secara hierarkis, melainkan menyebar melalui mekanisme produksi pengetahuan dan praktik pengawasan. Tim sukses berperan sebagai aktor utama dalam membentuk wacana politik pasangan calon, mulai dari arah komunikasi, pembentukan citra, hingga strategi kampanye. Melalui praktik pengawasan, normalisasi, dan evaluasi, tim sukses menanamkan standar tertentu terhadap perilaku dan performa pasangan calon, yang mencerminkan bentuk kekuasaan disipliner. Namun demikian, relasi kuasa ini tidak sepenuhnya bersifat dominatif, karena terdapat ruang negosiasi dan kerja sama antara kedua aktor. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya kajian sosiologi politik dengan menunjukkan bahwa kekuasaan dalam ruang politik kampus bersifat produktif dan relasional, serta bekerja melalui konstruksi pengetahuan dan pembentukan subjek. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi refleksi bagi mahasiswa dan penyelenggara Pemira dalam menciptakan praktik demokrasi kampus yang lebih transparan dan partisipatif.},

        abstract = {This study aims to understand how power relations are formed and exercised in the contestation of the Student General Election (Pemilihan Umum Raya / Pemira) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (FKIP Untirta), in 2024. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study method to analyze the forms of knowledge conveyed by campaign teams and internalized by candidate pairs, as well as the various rules that regulate the contestation process, which ultimately influence the candidates? understanding and direction of action in the Pemira contestation. Michel Foucault?s theory of power is applied as the analytical framework, particularly the concepts of discourse and disciplinary power. The findings reveal that power in the Pemira does not operate hierarchically but is dispersed through mechanisms of knowledge production and practices of surveillance. Campaign teams function as the primary actors in shaping the political discourse of candidate pairs, ranging from communication strategies and image construction to campaign planning. Through practices of surveillance, normalization, and evaluation, campaign teams impose certain standards on the behavior and performance of candidate pairs, reflecting forms of disciplinary power. However, these power relations are not entirely dominative, as spaces for negotiation and cooperation between the two actors also exist. Theoretically, this study contributes to political sociology by demonstrating that power within campus political spaces is productive and relational, operating through the construction of knowledge and the formation of subjects. Practically, the findings provide reflection for students and Pemira organizers in fostering more transparent and participatory democratic practices within the campus context.}
